Okay, first off….tell me which you like better, the white text (which is black when I write it) or the red. I kind of like the red…stands out.
My stomach has been better today. But I have had two days of Nexium twice daily, plus I have avoided known gastritis/esophagitis irritants. I had a lot of difficulty swallowing my roll last night at supper. That’s just part of it. I do appreciate all of the prayers!
Well, I felt better today, but then my feelings got hurt. A girl at work told me that she was glad I had “put on the ten pounds or so” because it made me look better. First off, I have not put on 10 pounds and I have been trying very hard lately to get into a regular exercise/fitness routine to definitely keep the weight off. Now, my weight fluctuates 1 to 2 to 3 pounds daily sometimes, but that is all due to water weight (my ankles swell at times). That put me in a grumpy mood the rest of the day. For those of you that know me, do I look like I have gained 10 pounds? Please be honest.
Hub is working tonight, so it is me and the boys. They are watching Tom and Jerry and I am working on Week 10 of The Patriarchs. I don’t know about you guys, but I have thoroughly enjoyed the study. I thought I was going to fall out of my chair I was laughing so hard at Beth Moore last night. She is awesome!
I am glad tomorrow is Friday….it has been a VERY long week. Work has been about to drive me crazy. I need to go grocery shopping tomorrow. We have M&J this weekend, so I don’t know what we will do. What are your weekend plans?
Oh, let me know if you like the red text better or the white. Text color may be something I have to play around with.

i never wear my glasses when i am on my laptop, so this was kinda like the eye doctor test……….which one is better…………i think i read the red better without my glasses, and even with my glasses on i definitely DO NOT see 10 extra pounds on you!!!!!!
Who was crazy enough to think you had gained 10 pounds???? We need to see about getting them some glasses!!! Love ya!
Girlfriend…..you DO NOT look like you have put on 10 pounds! I admire you for trying to get in shape. I’m going to try it again…..
First of all…unless your hair has grown a foot or more in the past two days, I can’t imagine where you are carrying around an extra 10 pounds.
I like both colors…mix it up a bit.
I am so glad that person isn’t my friend. LOL! I have gained MORE than 10 pounds. hee hee
You look great. Not a pound more than ever.
Glad you are feeling better!
Does it look like you’ve gained 10 pounds? Hardly. But, heck girl you could gain 30 pounds and not be heavy. You’re proportionally tiny, unlike my scrawny butt and I’m jeolous! As a thin person myself, I’ve heard comments about weight my whole life. I don’t think that people mean to sound so stupid, they just can’t help themselves! People that aren’t thin think that people that are have health issues and it goes back to the old theory that you need extra “meat on the bones” to look healthy. Of course, these are a lot of the same people that have HTN and Diabetes now because they’ve carried the fat around.
Don’t let your feelings be hurt. I am sure the person meant well and would not want to hurt your feelings and NO you do not look like you have put on any weight. You look the same as when I first saw you – even after having babies.
Tell her “It’s muscle, i’ve been running, thanks for noticing!”
You look fab…and could gain a good ten and still look healthy.
Anyway, I like the white on black…the red on black seems harder to read. You could use red for quote boxes and get away with it, inho.
