Well, it’s back to work tomorrow. I must say that I have thoroughly enjoyed having 3 days off. It was much needed after the stressful, busy work week I had. I can’t believe that I didn’t get a single phone call this weekend. But, you won’t hear me complaining. Hub even got up with the kids this morning and let me sleep in….thanks honey! I love you!
We spent today with family. Dad brought over steaks and the hub grilled in the rain. We had garlic/onion roasted potatoes, corn on the cob and I made a blackberry cobbler for dessert. I love frozen blackberries; you don’t have to wait til July to enjoy them. After we stuffed ourselves, we piled on the couch and took a nap.
Memorial Day is a day of remembrance. Most of us don’t need a specific day to remember those dear to us that have gone on….Mom, I love and miss you! I wish you could see the boys, M & J, baby R. So many things I want to tell you. I need you every day, but I know you are gone for a purpose and that one day, I will see you again!
