Today, I spent a lazy day doing nothing.  The boys slept late today (7:45 am) and I took them to day care.  Came back home, hub left to go to Lexington, I went to the tanning bad, came back and slept til 2:45.  I desperately needed a day to do nothing.  Especially after getting in so late last night.

My procedure was supposed to start a 2:00pm.  It ended up starting sometime after 5:00pm.  They spent about an hour and a half looking around…they did a regular EGD first to see if they could find the spots Dr.Shuttleworth saw. They found one, marked it and then did the EUS. Turns out, it was nothing. PRAISE GOD!  Definitely an answer to our prayers.

Tonight, C had a tee-ball game.  He hit the ball both times.  He could have had someone out at first, but they just don’t have the game down pat yet.  All they want to do is chase balls and roll around in the dirt.  It is comical watching them.  I guess that is why they have 3 years of tee-ball so they can learn the game.

Tomorrow, it is off to Henderson for a track meet.  Hub is supposed to take me out to eat tomorrow for Mother’s Day because he FORGOT that Sunday was Mother’s Day and agreed to take call at the local ambulance service.  So that means that we can’t leave the county; it also means that I could be spending Mother’s Day by myself.   He is in Lexington today/tonight.  I took off today so we could spend it together.  That didn’t happen either.  Oh well, I guess that is life.

I got the boys signed up for Longest Daycare/Preschool today.  They start May 27th.  I haven’t told them yet.  I am hoping they adjust well.  I am going to use that they will go to the same school J goes too.  I can’t believe J will be in high school when school starts back.  M will be 16 on her birthday.  Time sure flies.
