Still Crispy

Yes, I am talking about me.  I am now a nice purplish color.  At least today my skin doesn’t feel like it is ripping off my bones.  Did some research today, and it turns out that one of the drugs I take on a routine basis increases your risk by greater than 50% of developing sun-poisoning.  And that risk further increases when you have had it before, which I have.  So, a valuable lesson has been learned….sun-screen even when it is chilly outside.

C just left for his tee-ball game tonight….too cold out for L since we think he has a cold.  So, I got to stay home with him.  The big kids have a track meet tonight, but hub isn’t going because of C’s game.  He will just have to alternate kids because you can’t be two places at one time (wouldn’t it be nice if you could?).

This sums up my week thus far….ballgames and pain from severe sunburn, which I have diagnosed as sun poisoning.

I found peace in a scripture “Maggie” posted over at her place (www.5purposedriven.wordpress.com).  Speaks very strongly to what we face on a daily basis.  (Sorry, Mags, I haven’t figured out the short and nice way to feature someone….maybe you can give me pointers!)

Hope everyone has a good night! Blessings

i only had 2 kids to divide my time between. i can’t imagine 4. i remember nights walking between ball fields to be able to see both games. i know it is hard to imagine right now, but enjoy, it passes all too soon.

When our kids were younger and playing ball at the Little League park we sometimes has 3 games going on at the same time! It was crazy but I LOVED it, it seems like it was only yesterday.

    Hope your sunburn heals quickly!!!

As you are writing, type “www.”, then highlight that text.
Click the little chain icon on your toolbar.
Select “open in a new window” (so the person stays on your blog rather than leaving and visiting the new blog entirely).
When referring to a specific post rather than to just a blogger, click on their post title and copy and paste the specific url address to that specific post rather than just listeing their blog so that readers who only catch up with you every few days can still find what you are referring to: for example, here: http://5purposedriven.wordpress.com/2008/05/06/status/

Try that and see how it goes.
